Friday Randomness & Happy Earth Day!

1. I can't find my camera charger and my camera is dead. I hate this. Its not like I have a fancy iphone and can still take photos. I know I packed it somewhere safe when we moved, which probably means it'll be another ten years before I remember my "safe" hiding spot.

2. I'm crocheting a blanket. I'd show you a photo of my progress but see above. I've only learned to crochet and knit within the last month or so. I really like crocheting and I learned the basic stitches but didn't really have anything to make so I made a bunch of random coasters for Jake. My friend Tiffany has embarked upon making an awesome granny square blanket and inspired me to make a blanket as well but mine is granny stripes. It took a few tries finding a pattern that I understood but I think I've got it down now.

3. I really want some old dresser drawers with pretty handles that I can turn into planter boxes outside. Also, I'm in the market for a small and short table I can turn into an ottoman. I'm going to try to talk Jake into going to the flea market in Boise but I'm excited that yard sale season is about to start up too.

4. Jake and I both have to get our cars registered in Idaho. Just for kicks I was looking through Idaho's specialized plates, came across this one, and about died laughing.

I'm sure some people are really proud of their potatoes but I am not paying extra to have a giant butter filled potato on my license plate.

Anyone have any awesome Earth Day plans? I think I'm going to see about planting a little garden. I already recycled this week in honor of Earth Day. My county doesn't have recycling but there is a recycling center two towns away and let me tell you, it is super creepy and they don't take glass. What is that?
