Unpacking In Order To Pack.

This is the lovely outfit I wear when I have to go outside to do something. It's cold outside, and the backyard is still a mud pit so I like to wear my rubber boots. It's a super attractive look, I know.

I stayed up really late last night in celebration of the fact that I didn't have to be up early to go to work! Once we finally got out of bed, we hauled Jake's footlockers from Iraq into the living room, opened them, and went through them. He hasn't really opened them since he was in Iraq which was about 7 years ago, except to occasionally throw paperwork inside. He found all sorts of treasures in there that he had forgotten about. We moved everything he wants to keep into one and now we have two empty footlockers we can use for packing.

So I guess the packing has commenced. I can't wait until it's finished. I'm hoping to get rid of a lot of stuff by tossing, recycling and donating in an effort to live a more simple life. Packing is nowhere near as much fun as unpacking!
