The view from the bedroom window of where we're moving to.
The VA sent us paperwork on a new program they have for family caregivers of vets injured post 9/11 which Jake qualifies for so we've been filling out paperwork, driving to sign release forms and I had to take a 6 module caregiving class online via the Easter Seals. Hopefully everything will go through smoothly because this program offers a chance for me to receive a stipend for taking care of Jake and health insurance, which I don't currently have. It's kind of a pain to be doing all of this in the middle of our move but we thought we should apply sooner rather than later as it usually takes a long time to move through any VA process.
Our little puppy is doing well and my cat who hates every other animal absolutely loves her. It's so cute when they cuddle. It makes my insides all mushy. There is one problem however; she can't seem to master pooping outside. Her poos are little so they aren't bothersome to clean up and she does pee outside for the most part but it's still annoying. I think we might try one of those puppy pads and put it by the doggy door because she just isn't grasping the concept. Any tips?

So exciting. That VA stipend sounds great. Good luck packing.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you right now with your move. I know how tough moving is... since I just moved myself.
ReplyDeleteAs for the puppy... I had a dog that I had trouble house training. I looked into crate training and it worked like a dream.
