2011 Favorites.

2011 was a hard year for us. Jake had some really rough times with his PTSD, we moved to a new state, the government passed legislation that cut Jake's pay by 1/3, our sewer was continually breaking, I searched and searched and searched for a job. Looking back though, 2011 was full of great memories and fun times as well. We love our new town, we've made some friends, we've made plans for 2012 and I found a job. I think life will be much kinder in 2012 but I wanted to share some of my favorite posts from 2011 before I look ahead to the new year.

    there is always good that comes with the bad. we all have it but look at what a great year! the canning is awesome and you have made it contagious through your blog, so thank you! i can't wait to try out something new! my sister in law had the marmalade i made her and she said it was delicious! YAY ME! i know 2012 will be such a great year for you!

    Just read your "how we met" post. The love notebook is such an incredibly sweet idea. And the fact that you met on WOW? Holy crap! I played it for a few years but half the fun for me was imagining what the real life people were actually like. I'm glad it worked for you and hope 2012 is a tad easier for you both but filled with just as much love.
