New Job Update.

So I finished the main training classes last week and have been on the teller line the last 4 or so days. Everything is great and the job is really easy. I got hired to work 20 hours per week but that hasn't happened. The first few weeks I expected to work more hours as I knew I had a lot of training to get done. Last week, one girl quit, apparently she had some family issues and is moving away. Another girl is going from full time to part time for the next six months as she is ill and can't work so many hours. So 45 hours/wk. are all of the sudden vacant. The remaining teller and I both got bumped up to 30 hr/wk. regularly but I'm working 40 hours until we can hire a new part time person. Fun fun!

I didn't really want to work this much because I like being able to go with Jake to his doctor's appointments. He has memory problems and sometimes forgets what they said or forgets to tell them something. Also, it's nice to be there if he had an especially difficult session with the social worker/psychiatrist type guy. I'm not exactly sure how he's supposed to be referred to. I figure that Christmas is coming up though so I welcome the extra hours and money. I just wish I could find the magical time I need to go to bed so when I wake up I'm not still tired.
