Jake and I went for a walk through town today. It's beautiful outside and everyone is getting ready for the National Old Time Fiddle Festival that begins in about a week and a half. We're very excited for the festival, it'll be our first one and we've heard the music is phenomenal.
Jake picked these peonies from our yard for my kitchen. Definitely an upgrade from the dandelions, they're beautiful. He also got me some daisies from the neighbor's yard. Not the little ones we made daisy chains out of in elementary school but nice big pretty ones. I don't think our "neighbors" will mind since the house is unoccupied.

ReplyDeletewow those poppies are soo beautiful! i didn't get my act together this year and didn't plant any poppies but the ones i planted last year sprouted more plants which thrilled me!! the peonies are so gorgeous!!
