Happy Birthday Mama!!

Thank you for being such a wonderful and supportive mom. You took on teachers for me, you taught me to drive, even though I totally broke the car to the tune of 1k+, you forced me to walk at graduation even though I hated pretty much everything that had to do with school (I'm still not convinced I would've regretted not walking). You let me wear mismatched shoes and socks in public everyday as a child and even though you took me to a crazy lady who gave me a mullet once, you still pretended to be indignant when people would ask if I were a boy. You talked to me every single night for 3 years as I walked to my car after work or class in the dark just to make sure I made it there okay. You gave us guidance but also space to make our own decisions and mistakes. I know you probably thought I was crazy for moving 17 hours away to be with a guy I met in a video game, and yet you didn't hassle me about it - except to say you weren't paying for it if I decided to move back. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Happy Birthday Mom, I love you, you're the greatest!
