On my birthday my mom and I went to the annual plant sale at the mall put on by the local Master Gardeners group/club. I'm not sure how they refer to themselves. It was nice to be able to get some plants that had already been started as I didn't have time to plant anything this year with all of the moving/house stuff. I got some herbs, some vegetables and a "miscellaneous succulent".
My mom also gave me some wooden tulips to add to my collection. Tulips are my favorite and she usually gives these to me for my birthday because they don't wilt and die. I love them!
what fun! i want to go to a plant sale. i really want to get another larger pot and put herbs in it. i think right now that is all i can do and i keep talking about it and not doing it! hopefully before summer is over i can have this!

Those wooden tulips are just so sweet! My housemate and I keep saying we need to buy some plants, but I don't trust myself to keep them alive for more than a week!!
