To further gross you out, for real this time, my dog crapped in her kennel. My mom hates when I use words like shit or crap, she thinks it isn't ladylike, which makes it all the more fun to say them. Anyway, we're trying to kennel train her because she's not very good at the whole going potty outside thing. It was working great for about a week and then she had this little mishap. I need to find a hose and spray that sucker out. Ick! Dogs don't usually do that, do they? She wasn't even in there very long.
Jake had to get labs this morning for his dr. appt. next week and the lady took his blood just as fast as you could blink. It was amazing and definitely the quickest trip we've ever had to a VA. Afterward, since it was still early we decided to go out to breakfast. I ordered the veggie scramble and the eggs were all runny and gross. I think they used the eggs that come in a milk carton and they didn't get cooked all of the way. Also, the waitress forgot my home fries and then remembered I had ordered them but instead brought me hash browns which is definitely not the same thing. Jake's breakfast looked good though.
I'm hoping there is some progress on the apartment this weekend. Everyone who has been helping out has been doing it after their real jobs so there has been very little progress this week. I'm hoping that the texture goes up on the walls Saturday. We'd really like to move in. It's not that I don't love my dad and appreciate him letting us live in his guest room but he's deaf as a doornail and listens to tv on volume 51. I can get used to the blaring t.v. if he didn't watch such terrible programs. The WWE still exists, who knew?

WWE is ridiculous, it makes no sense at all. It's all fake drama, like a muscly, hairy kardashian.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have labs, Jake had to get labs done for his doctor's appt. They sure are pretty dogs though, my brother has a black lab and we used to have one when I was a kid. We have a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix.
The dog may be having potty problems because of the stress of relocating to a new house. Dogs and cats are very perceptive to changes in their environment and one way of showing their uncomfort is by going where they shouldn't go. I once had a cat who pooped outside the litter box because I had brought home another female cat. She did this until the day she died, because the other female cat never left.
ReplyDeleteThat may very well be a part of it. I think that one problem is that she is still a puppy and her old owner was an irresponsible teenager so she was never trained at all. She's only 6 or 7 months old, she'll get it soon, I hope!

haha can i tell you a secret....i never ever brush my hair!!! glad to hear the appt went super well which hopefully means every visit will be just as great! that must be a load off both your shoulders!
