Jake bought this telescope for our first date. I know you're thinking, "what? that's crazy!" Don't forget, Jake and I met in an online video game and had been talking for months before we met in person and had a lot of time to talk about fun things we wanted to do together. Anyway, we never ended up setting it up. We finally used it tonight to look at the moon and it was so much fun! Hopefully soon we'll use it to find other cool things in the night sky.
Crazy? Hell no! That is AWESOME!!! I've loved space and astronomy ever since I was an ittle wittle girl. If I had the money, I'd buy one of those fancy-schmancy telescopes with the built in camera. *drools*

ReplyDeleteoh i love looking at the stars through our telescope! my nerd husband bought higher power lenses so we can see the craters on the moon, and the ring around Saturn!
