Jake is at Fort Carson in Colorado for his evals so I'm home alone cuddling with Jewels, eating Oriental Top Ramen, drinking tea and teaching myself to knit. By cuddling with Jewels I really mean that she's running around like a crazy person whose best friend is missing until I tell her to lay down and then she lays right on me and almost breaks my sternum, crazy dog. I swear she has panic attacks anytime Jake leaves so I bought her some new doggy treats today to try to cheer her up.
I hope she likes the treats and settles down! My kitty was nuts when I got home after a long vacation-- running around and jumping on me-- and all I wanted to do was sleep. They eventually figure it out.

ReplyDeleteif she really does get stressed out when he goes you can ask your vet for some acepromazine. She'll be subdued until he returns, but she won't be stressed!
