Happy V Day!

I went and volunteered today and finished a very long project I had been working on for weeks. That felt good! Then I went to Target and picked up the Zac Brown Band c.d.s for Jake. He has mentioned several times, "I really like that guy's voice." I also bought him a red heart shaped box of chocolates because that's basically required and a card with a guitar on the front by Papyrus. Did you know they sell Papyrus cards at Target? I didn't.

Next I went to the awesome gourmet grocery store which is my new favorite place and picked up some asparagus and halibut. I had never cooked halibut before but it's Jake's favorite and fish is generally pretty easy to cook.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Butter a piece of foil large enough to wrap around the fish in a little oven

Squeeze fresh lemon on the filet

Bake for 10 min per inch of thickness

I haven't decided what I want for Valentines Day yet. I'm kind of leaning toward some supplies to get me started quilting but I'll probably wait until after we get back from Boise this weekend just in case we find a place and have to spend a bunch of money on deposits.
