Bookstore.

I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I really have no idea but I'm sure it involves words and books, maybe something a little creative as well. It absolutely has to be something I'm passionate about. Lately I've felt like I'm floundering, just kind of floating, not overly excited about anything that's going on in my life. Yesterday I made a list of what I want to do in life (I'm a big fan of the to do lists) and I found that I want to live in another country and own a bookstore, although not at the same time. I'm pretty convinced this bookstore idea is awesome. Now to just finish my degree and then talk to my sister about a business plan. Good thing I have a couple years.

Bonus: I can wear cardigans at my bookstore.

Oh, and what should I name my hypothetical bookstore?

  1. I love it. I've had that dream, sort of. I think your book posts are pulling me into your blog-world. So, you should definately get cracking on that business plan.

  2. Buzzy, that is the first time I've ever heard anyone rhyme anything with Slape.

Devrie, yay I'm glad! I love to read and I get sucked into books and lose all track of time. I just wish I could get everyone to love reading as much as I do. Oh well.

  3. I thought I would like to open a bookstore one day too, but with ebooks I think the market in paper books is slowly fading away. Maybe a nice used book store would be the thing to do.
